My father moved their and got his inheritance as the cultural law works on us according to our society. At that time, when my grandfather decided that, it is the right time to make them separate(divide the land or whatever is there, as asset). The cultural law on that there is, they divide the asset in parts, according to the number of sons exist in the family plus one part for parents. It is given the chance to choose the part of asset, in hierarchy from young to old. As my father was elder son in family, he got the land and a hut that had been using for animal husbandry till that time, in the bank of KaliGandaki river. My 4 uncle and their family continue to live in the village where all the family had been living for many generations. At that time, my three siblings already were there to enjoy that beautiful family and a beautiful house, which had two flats and without rooms. The romantic part i remember was it had the roof of dry grass. The very advantage of that is, In winter seasons it would maintain the house warm and in Summer it would maintain the house cool.
My parents felt to make me literate, as the fashion was spreading, of make their child to admit in any school available in the town. Remembering those days I can realize that our whole system should be changed in terms of child education. We should invest more on child education rather than other fancy education after college. When we are child, our mind is so fragile and ready to pick up anything that´s available.
